IBS College of TVET, yesterday, proudly celebrated the amazing achievements of its 2024 graduating class under the theme: “Inspiring Excellence, Transforming Lives.”
A total of 193 students successfully completed their studies, earning certificates III and IV in subjects like Information Technology, Accounting, Business Management, and Human Resource Management. These graduates have worked hard to achieve this important accomplishment, and the event was a special way to recognize their effort and dedication.
IBS College was delighted to welcome Sir Navin Raju, CEO of Remington Technology, as the guest speaker at the graduation. He shared practical advice with the graduates, encouraging them to use their skills, knowledge, and positive attitudes to stand out. He also spoke about taking responsibility, making thoughtful decisions, and developing a sense of ownership in everything they do.
Followed by the graduation guest speech, which was delivered by Mr. Barton Gabi Maino, the Executive Officer to the Managing Director of Kumul Mineral Holdings Limited, who assures parents and sponsors of the graduation that, “The greatest investment you can do is invest in your children’s education.”
The ceremony was held yesterday, Wednesday 18th December 2024, which featured both certificate presentations and awards for academic excellence. IBS college would like to express its gratitude to the sponsors of the awards, Theodist Superstore Limited and IBSUniversity.
The Head of IBS College, Mr. Sagara Wijeratne, congratulated the graduates and urged them to step into the future with confidence and a positive outlook. “You have shown great strength and determination. As you move ahead, remember that the skills and values you’ve learned here will be a solid base for everything you do next.”
